Lambros Barbagiannis is passionate about flowers. Born into a family of floral designers, he began working at his father's NYC shop as soon as he was able to pick up a broom. After studying architecture at Brooklyn's Pratt University, he soon realized his love of floral design exceded his studies and was faced his first crossroad of his life. He began working full time at his father's shop and was soon designing for personalities such as Armand Assante, Cynthia Nixon and Alec Baldwin to name a few.

After starting a family of his own, Lambros was at another crossroad. Working 12 hour days, 7 days a week, he missed his new family, but still loved designing. Lambros started to look for a flower shop closer to home in Bergen County. When he found Allendale Florist, he said, "it just felt right. I wanted to be able to serve towns that appreciated quality flowers and beautiful work." Soon, his goal was achieved. He is now able to bring his unique style to Allendale, Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, Ramsey, Wyckoff and surrounding towns. "This is a very special community. The people are friendly and warm and have been stopping in to wish us well. I couldn't be happier and plan to grow this business tremendously. Now I have the best of both worlds' my family and my designs.
